10 kW wind turbine

With over 30 of these turbines located within Saskatchewan the Ventera turbine is becoming a well known solution to the growing energy problems of acreage owners and farmers within the province. Not to be confused with smaller turbines this system produces results. With the ability to produce up to 22,000 kWhs a year this turbine is the right solution if you’re looking for something robust, reliable and long term. The Giroux family of Radisson, SK is progressive in many ways, but when they converted the local school into their home, and eliminated the natural gas bills by going to a geothermal heating and cooling system, they took the lead in the new green and sustainable culture of our society. Solar Outpost replaced 15 natural gas furnaces with 8 high efficient GeoSmart geothermal systems. Early indications show that their heating costs for the nearly 20,000 square foot facility have been cut in half. With the addition of the 40 kW wind turbine to offset a large portion of their power needs, the Giroux’s are living a very environmentally conscious lifestyle!
